A devotional asks for a particular kind of trust: you are giving it the first quiet minutes of your day. That trust is easier to give when you know where the words came from. This page says plainly what NobNob is, what it is not, and whose work you are reading.

Who publishes NobNob

NobNob is an independent devotional resource. It is not an official General Conference, conference, union, or local church publication, and no denominational body reviews, endorses, or funds it. Nothing here should be read as speaking on behalf of any church. It is written to sit comfortably alongside whatever congregation you belong to, not to replace or compete with it.

Scripture

Every verse on this site is quoted from a translation that is free to reproduce without permission, limit, or fee. That is a deliberate choice rather than a convenience. The major modern translations — NIV and NVI, RVR1960, NTLH, Almeida Revista e Corrigida, La Biblia de las Américas — each permit roughly five hundred verses across a whole work before a licence is required, and a growing archive passes that line quietly and without warning. Building on an allowance we would eventually breach seemed a poor foundation for a site that asks you to trust it with the first minutes of your day.

Each quotation names its reference and its translation, so you can always look the passage up in full context rather than taking our framing for it. Verses are stored on this site as references, not as copied text: the wording you see is rendered from the translation itself, which means we cannot quietly misquote a passage and no page can drift out of step with the Bible it cites.

We still quote sparingly. A devotional works best when it sends you to your own Bible, in whichever translation your household already reads, rather than substituting for it.

Languages

This site is written in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. The three are parallel originals, not machine translations of one another: each is written for its own reader, and the ninety daily reflections were translated from the Portuguese by hand rather than run through a translation engine. Where a page exists in only some languages, the language switcher will say so rather than sending you to a page that does not exist.

The ninety-day devotional was written in Portuguese. The English and Spanish are faithful renderings of it; where a turn of phrase could not carry across, we chose the reading that keeps the author's meaning over the one that keeps the author's grammar.

Reflections

The reflections, discussion questions, and prompts are original writing produced for NobNob. We do not reproduce pages, structures, or text from other published devotional series, and we do not present another author’s reading of a passage as our own. Where a well-known interpretation informs a reflection, we say so in the text.

Images

The photography and product imagery on this site show NobNob’s own materials and brand assets. Mock-ups are identified as such where the represented product is not yet in general release.

Corrections

We will get things wrong — a misattributed reference, a passage handled carelessly, a claim that outruns what we can support. When that happens we would rather fix it in public than quietly. If you spot an error, tell us what page it is on and what you believe is correct, and we will correct the text and note the change.
