Reflection
Sometimes the things that are hard can make us think there is something wrong with us. But not every complicated process means failure. There are things God develops in us little by little, because He also wants to form character, patience and strength. Even what is hard for you today can become, tomorrow, part of how you grew.
Lucas watched his friends doing things that were really hard for him. Some learned quickly, others stood out without needing much effort. He, on the other hand, had to try several times before he managed it.
One day, after getting something he was practicing wrong again, he felt frustrated. He thought, “Why is this so hard for me? Maybe I am just not good at this.” For a moment he wanted to give up. Instead of stopping there, he decided to try one more time. And then another. Little by little, he began to notice something: what had seemed hard at the start was getting better. It was not perfect yet, but he was moving forward. That process taught him something he might not have learned if everything had been easy: patience, effort and consistency.
Sometimes we think that difficulty is a sign that something is wrong. That if something does not happen quickly, it means it is not for us. But God also uses processes to form something in us. Not everything happens right away, but everything can have a purpose.
