Reflection

Making a mistake does not make you a bad person, and it does not mean your story is over. All of us fail at some point. What matters is not never falling, but learning to get back up, owning your own mistakes, and continuing to grow. God keeps working in your life while you learn and mature.

Peter loved Jesus very much. He always wanted to be near him, to help, and to show that he would be faithful in every moment. He even said he would never abandon him. When the hard moments came and fear took over his heart, Peter did something he never imagined: he said he did not know Jesus. And it did not happen only once, but three times.

Afterward, Peter was deeply sad. He knew he had failed. Maybe he thought he had ruined everything and that Jesus would never trust him again.

But the story did not end there. Jesus did not come near to humiliate him or to keep reminding him of his mistake. Some time later, he talked with Peter again and gave him a new opportunity.

Peter understood something important: making a mistake does not mean everything is lost. All of us make mistakes. We say things we should not say, we make wrong decisions, or we act out of fear. But God does not wait for us to be perfect before he keeps walking with us. He helps us get up, learn from our mistakes, and keep growing.
