Reflection

God also works in long, quiet processes. Some days you may feel like you are moving slowly, or like you still have so much left to learn. But growing takes time. You do not have to rush, and you do not have to measure yourself against anyone else. God is still shaping something good in you, even when you cannot yet see everything He is doing.

Thomas Edison made many attempts before he built inventions that actually worked. Some people laughed at him, or thought he was wasting his time, because the results were slow to show up.

But Edison saw every attempt as part of the learning. He was not only thinking about the final result. He understood that each step was teaching him something new.

With patience and perseverance, he kept working, even when the answers did not come right away.

A lot of the time, we want fast results too. We want to understand everything now, to improve immediately, or to feel that we have already arrived where we would like to be. But God often works in a different way.

Some changes take time.

Some lessons arrive little by little.

Even when we cannot always notice it, God keeps working in our heart, in our decisions, and in the way we grow.

Not everything blooms on the same day it is planted. Some things need time, care, and patience in order to grow.
