Reflection

Love often shows itself in small gestures of care and attention in everyday life. Listening, staying close, and helping can make someone feel deeply loved. God wants to help you love not only with words, but with sincere actions that bring peace, welcome, and hope to people's hearts.

Josefina noticed that her younger brother was having a hard day. He was quieter than usual and seemed discouraged when he came home from school.

Even though she had other things she wanted to do, she decided to sit with him for a while. They talked, played for a few minutes, and then Josefina made him something simple to eat. She did not solve all of her brother's problems. Even so, he felt welcomed, accompanied, and loved.

Sometimes we think that loving means only saying beautiful words. But love also shows itself when we care, stay close, and pay attention to what people are feeling. Small gestures can make someone feel deeply loved: listening carefully, offering help, sharing time, or simply being present in the hard moments. God teaches us to love in practical, sincere ways. Real love is not expressed by words alone; it also becomes visible in the way we care for people's hearts.
