Reflection

You do not need to have everything figured out in order to feel valued. Some processes take time, effort and patience. God is not present only when you reach a goal. He also walks with you while you grow. His love does not depend on your results. He stays at your side at every stage of the journey.

Lionel Messi did not look like the typical boy who would become one of the best football players in the world.

He was smaller than the others, and he faced a growth problem that needed treatment. While many moved ahead easily, he had to work twice as hard. Even so, plenty of people doubted he would make it.

There were moments when his path did not look promising. When he did not fit what other people expected. But there was something that made all the difference: he did not go through that process alone. His family supported him. They believed in him when that was not the obvious thing to do.

They were there at every stage, not only for the victories.

Before he was ever recognized, Messi was already loved. And that love held him up.

Sometimes we think we have to “get there” before we can feel secure. That once we achieve something, we will finally be enough. But real love does not wait for the result. It walks alongside the process. That is how God is with you. He does not love you only when everything is sorted out. He loves you while you grow.
