Reflection
Sometimes the world makes people feel invisible or unimportant. But Jesus taught that God pays attention even to the simplest things. If He takes care of every detail of what He made, how much more will He take care of you. Your worth does not depend on other people's opinions, but on God's love. Jesus told a simple but powerful story. He said that if a shepherd had a hundred sheep and one of them got lost, he would leave the ninety-nine to go looking for that single one.
Not because the others were not important, but because that one had worth too.
Picture the shepherd walking rough paths, calling out for the sheep and searching for her without giving up. He never said, “I already have enough.”
That sheep was not just one more. She mattered.
Sometimes we feel that way too. We think we are not the best, that we do not stand out, that other people are more important. But God does not think that way. To Him, you are not just one more in the crowd. You are someone worth going out to look for. Your worth does not change because of the things you get right or the things you get wrong. It does not depend on other people choosing you either. God has already decided that you are valuable.
