Reflection

God often guides us little by little, without showing us everything at once. That can be frightening, but it also teaches us to trust Him more. Even if today you do not understand everything that is ahead, you can rest knowing that God is still walking with you and showing you the direction at the right moment.

The people of Israel spent a long time walking through the desert. There were days when they did not know exactly where to go, or how much longer it would take to reach the Promised Land.

They had no maps and no answers.

But God gave them a sign to guide them. During the day a cloud went ahead of them, and at night a pillar of fire lit up the way. When the cloud moved, they moved. When it stopped, they rested.

God did not show them the whole road at once. He showed them the next step.

Sometimes we want to know everything before we move too. We want to understand the future completely, to feel totally safe, or to have all the answers.

And yet God often guides in a different way. Step by step. Day after day.

There are moments when we do not see the whole road, but we can learn to trust that God keeps guiding our life.

You do not have to figure everything out today.

You can also walk trusting that God knows where He is leading you.
