Reflection

Your mind needs care, rest and peace too. Thinking too much about your worries or living under a lot of pressure can leave your heart very tired. God wants to help you find calm even in the middle of hard thoughts. Resting, talking and looking for support are also healthy ways of caring for what is inside you.

Naomi Osaka became one of the best tennis players in the world. Many people admired her talent, her discipline and her success in competition.

Over time, though, Naomi began to speak openly about something most people never saw: the mental and emotional pressure she was facing all the time.

There were days when her mind felt tired from so many expectations, worries and thoughts piling up. Then she understood something important: taking care of your mind is part of taking care of your life.

So she decided to set aside time to rest emotionally and to look for help whenever she needed it. Sometimes we think we have to hold every hard thought on our own, or pretend we are always fine. But God cares about what happens in our minds too. He wants to bring peace to our thoughts, calm to our worries and rest to our hearts.

Not every thought has to keep growing inside you. You can also learn to hand your worries over to God and to look for support when you need it.
