Reflection

The way you speak can completely change a hard situation. Answering with humility and calm is not always easy, especially when emotions are running high. God can help you communicate with more wisdom, respect and love, and that strengthens your relationships. Mahatma Gandhi became known for opening paths of peace and dialogue, even in the middle of very tense and conflicted situations.

Although he often faced anger, criticism and violence, he tried to answer with calm and firmness instead of acting aggressively.

Gandhi understood that words have power. A conversation can make a conflict bigger, or it can help build peace and understanding.

Sometimes, when we feel hurt or irritated, we want to fire back fast, raise our voice or win the argument. But that attitude usually makes the problem grow. Speaking with humility does not mean letting others hurt us. It means learning to communicate with respect, calm and wisdom, even when emotions are strong.

God also wants to teach us to answer in ways that build peace instead of destroying relationships.

Words spoken gently often reach further than shouting. And humility can open doors that pride keeps shut.
